Boxing Daily Report from the Obad promoted show at Dvorana Mladosti, Rijeka,  taking place on 07/05/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Croatia-Primorje-Gorski Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Miodrag Valjak (1 - 1) who hails from Rijeka, Croatia and Domagoj Beric(11(4) - 0 - 1) from Rijeka, Croatia.  Valjak weighed in at 234 pounds and 9 ounces, while Beric weighed in at 245 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dragan Vitez, and the three ringside judges are Filip Medancic, Andrej Brdar and Andro Bunic.  

Round 1: 

Beric strikes his opponents body with a jab.

Beric pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Beric is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Beric lands an overhand right to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.  
Beric feints a right hook, and then hits home with a cross.  
Beric hits home with a sharp jab.  
Beric steps inside.  Beric pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a firm left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Valjak has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused a slight cut in the corner of the right eye.  .  
Beric lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Beric holds on to his opponent.  Beric pushes his forearm into Valjak's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Beric to stop fouling.  
Valjak quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Beric lands a sharp cross.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Valjak has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Beric steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Beric clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Beric's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
