Diego Trujillo vs Morgan Tinkler

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Jake Gaither Gymnasium, Tallahassee,  taking place on 28/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Trujillo (24(22) - 0) who hails from Camaguey, Cuba and Morgan Tinkler(25(1) - 2 - 1) from Oklahoma City, USA.  Both Trujillo and Tinkler weighed in at 199 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Pedro Buendia, and the three ringside judges are David Carias, Javier Resendiz and Charles Griffiths.  

Round 1: 

Trujillo lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Trujillo lands a hard jab.  
Trujillo feints a cross, and then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Tinkler tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tinkler closes the distance.  Trujillo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Tinkler lands a firm right hook.  
Tinkler throws a right hook, but Trujillo ties up his opponent.  Tinkler pushes his forearm into Trujillo's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Tinkler switches the action to the outside.  Trujillo lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Tinkler gets on the inside and manages to force Trujillo onto the ropes.  Trujillo lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Trujillo tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands two overhand rights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Tinkler steps inside.  Trujillo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Trujillo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Trujillo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Tinkler steps inside and tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tinkler steps away from his opponent.  Trujillo lands a jab, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Tinkler advances into close range and forces Trujillo to back into the ropes.  Trujillo lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Trujillo lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Tinkler closes the distance.  Trujillo throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Trujillo clinches his opponent.  Tinkler is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Tinkler and breaks the clinch.  
Trujillo switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Tinkler forces Trujillo to back into a neutral corner.  Trujillo hits home with a solid left hook.  
Tinkler lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Trujillo lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Tinkler pivots to the left of his opponent.  Tinkler attempts to land a jab, but Trujillo blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Tinkler is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into Trujillo's body.

Trujillo lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head.

Tinkler closes the distance.  Trujillo hits home with a left uppercut.

Trujillo lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Tinkler almost instantly gets his legs back.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tinkler's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Tinkler's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Tinkler's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

He follows up the attack and lands two straights followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING TINKLER TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Trujillo!
