Joe Marn vs Montrose Chamfort

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Dave Andreychuk Mountain Arena, Hamilton,  taking place on 27/05/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joe Marn (13(7) - 2(1)) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and Montrose Chamfort(2 - 1 - 1) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Marn and Chamfort weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Brown, and the three ringside judges are Paul Curtain, Gethin Riddel and Arthur Dunkin.  

Round 1: 

Marn gets on the inside.  Marn pivots to the left of his opponent.  Marn lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Marn ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Marn pushes his forearm into Chamfort's face.  The referee warns Marn and breaks the clinch.  
Marn digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  Marn holds on to his opponent.  Marn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Marn pivots to the right of his opponent.  Marn throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Marn closes the distance.  Marn pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Chamfort closes the distance.  Marn lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Marn clinches his opponent.  Marn leans on his opponent using all his weight. Marn uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Chamfort behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Marn.  
Marn lands a jab to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a jab to the head.  
Marn gets on the inside and connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Marn drives a left hook into Chamfort's body.  
Marn lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Marn lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Marn advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Marn closes the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Marn lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Marn is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Marn hits home with a left hook.  
Marn lands a right uppercut to the head, a jab to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Chamfort sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Marn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Marn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Marn throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Chamfort is looking to close the distance.  Marn pivots to the left of his opponent.  Chamfort tries to land a left hook, but Marn sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Marn gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Chamfort attempts to land a left hook, but Marn sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Chamfort's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Chamfort pivots to the right of his opponent.  Marn hits home with a firm left hook.  
Marn switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Marn lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Marn sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a stiff jab.  
Marn lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Marn steps away from his opponent.  Marn knows Chamfort is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Marn lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES CHAMFORT!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Marn steps inside.  Marn slams a hurtful left hook into his opponents body.  CHAMFORT IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  It looks like Chamfort has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Marn lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Marn throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Marn holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Marn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Marn is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Marn closes the distance and lands a left uppercut.  
Marn manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Marn lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Marn holds on to his opponent.  Marn tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Chamfort behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Chamfort gets on the inside.  Marn lands a solid right hook.  
Marn hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
Marn tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Marn steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Marn clinches his opponent.  Marn tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Chamfort behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Marn thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Chamfort away.  Marn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND CHAMFORT IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Marn!
