Andy Ruan vs Ian Clucas

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Dom Kennedy Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 16/04/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Andy Ruan (6 - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Ian Clucas(2 - 10 - 2) from Geelong, Australia.  Both Ruan and Clucas weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Lawrie, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Hadjinyan, Sean Desmond and Malcolm Hanken.  

Round 1: 

Ruan steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Ruan throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Clucas's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ruan's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Clucas's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
