Connor Crary vs Ian Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the Vexa promoted show at Four Points Sheraton Hotel, San Diego,  taking place on 08/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Connor Crary (3 - 0) who hails from Tempe, USA and Ian Jones(9 - 8(2)) from Detroit, USA.  Both Crary and Jones weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Apted, and the three ringside judges are Sam Gaddie, Sam Dunkin and Dylan Waddell.  

Round 1: 

Crary is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Crary closes the distance and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Crary clinches his opponent.  Crary pushes his forearm into Jones's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Crary.  
Crary manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Crary connects with a solid left hook.  
Crary attempts to land a right hook, but Jones blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Crary steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Crary throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Crary lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Crary ties up his opponent.  Crary is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Crary pushes his forearm into Jones's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Crary about fouling.  
Crary pivots from in front of his opponent.  Crary throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Crary ties up his opponent.  Crary is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Crary's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Crary gets on the inside and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Crary lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Crary clinches his opponent.  Crary is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Crary.  
Crary is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Crary hits home with a right hook.  
Crary is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm right hook to Jones's body.  
Crary gets on the inside.  Jones pivots to the side of his opponent.  Crary is on target with a sharp left hook to Jones's body.  Crary holds on to his opponent.  Crary leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Jones steps away from his opponent.  Crary is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jones's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Crary gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Jones tries to land a left uppercut, but Crary slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Crary connects with a firm left hook.  
Crary lands a jab.  
Crary steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Crary ties up his opponent.  Crary leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Crary pivots to the right of his opponent.  Jones connects with a right hook.  
Crary manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Crary lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Crary steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Jones steps away from his opponent.  Crary lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Crary advances into close range and hits home with a solid right hook.  Crary attempts to land a left uppercut, but Jones sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Crary advances into close range.  Crary quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jones is on target with a left hook.  Crary holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Crary pushes his forearm into Jones's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and sends Jones to the neutral corner.  He takes Crary's arm and signals to each judge that a point should be deducted!  
Jones is looking to keep his distance.  Crary circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Jones is on target with a cross.  
Crary lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Crary lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Crary lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Crary lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Crary steps inside and lands a firm left hook.  Crary ties up his opponent.  Crary leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Crary's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Crary advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Crary cuts off the ring, trapping Jones in the corner.  Crary lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Crary holds on to his opponent.  Crary tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Jones's kidney.

Crary forces Jones to retreat onto the ropes.  Crary hits home with a left uppercut.  Crary ties up his opponent.  Crary leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Crary to stop holding.
