Paul Pembroke vs Arnie Tarbert

Boxing Daily Report from the Sugar Valley promotion promoted show at Celebrity Theatre, Phoenix,  taking place on 08/05/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Pembroke (14(7) - 0) who hails from Yuma, USA and Arnie Tarbert(15 - 20(1) - 4) from Tucson, USA.  Pembroke weighed in at 130 pounds, while Tarbert weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Idle, and the three ringside judges are Rex Kinzie, Arthur Cerrato and Duncan Spence.  

Round 1: 

Pembroke lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pembroke gets on the inside.  Pembroke quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pembroke connects with a sharp right hook.  Pembroke ties up his opponent.  Pembroke leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tarbert steps to the outside.  Pembroke feints a right hook, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Pembroke lands a hard jab.  
Pembroke is on target with a jab.  
Pembroke is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Pembroke finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Pembroke lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pembroke tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pembroke advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pembroke dabs at his face checking for damage.

Pembroke advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  Pembroke ties up his opponent.  Pembroke throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pembroke about fouling.  
Pembroke sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Tarbert steps away from his opponent.  Pembroke feints a left hook, and then is on target with a jab.  It looks like Tarbert has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Pembroke pivots to the right of his opponent.  Tarbert throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a SAVAGE right uppercut.  TARBERT WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Tarbert is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Pembroke could be enough to finish Tarbert!  Pembroke lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two straights followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS TARBERT DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  Tarbert now seems to have got his legs back.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tarbert's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Tarbert's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Pembroke is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pembroke feints a right hook, and then hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Pembroke switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pembroke tries to step out of his opponents range.  Pembroke stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Tarbert tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a HUGE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE TARBERT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Pembroke is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Pembroke connects with a HUGE left uppercut.  TARBERT IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Pembroke is on target with a nasty right uppercut.  TARBERT IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Pembroke!
