Vegas Chamorro vs Desiderio Recio

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Neper Pando Gym, Mexico City,  taking place on 13/04/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vegas Chamorro (27 - 9 - 4) who hails from Tlaquepaque, Mexico and Desiderio Recio(25 - 15(3) - 7) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Both Chamorro and Recio weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Marmol, and the three ringside judges are Emanuel Lopez, Frisco Olivar and Aimon Negron.  

Round 1: 

Recio manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Recio lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Recio attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Chamorro's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
