Max Farris vs Michael Penman

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 15/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Max Farris (25(13) - 1 - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Michael Penman(5(2) - 1(1)) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Farris and Penman weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Steven Candreva, and the three ringside judges are William Ferries, Nathan Skiver and Gareth Alford.  

Round 1: 

Farris closes the distance.  Penman throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.
