Primo Calise vs Gregor Cotts

Boxing Daily Report from the Phala Promotions promoted show at Adelaide McCargar, Adelaide,  taking place on 07/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-South Australia Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Primo Calise (9 - 15(1) - 3) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Gregor Cotts(7(2) - 0) from Adelaide, Australia.  Calise weighed in at 200 pounds, while Cotts weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James McColgan, and the three ringside judges are Adam Pennison, Antwan Whitehead and Kian Pugh.  

Round 1: 

Cotts advances into close range and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Cotts lands a right uppercut.  Cotts holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cotts pushes his forearm into Calise's face.  The referee warns Cotts and breaks the clinch.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cotts dabs at his face checking for damage.
