Duncan Fullerton vs Sid Davies

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Canberra Stadium, Canberra,  taking place on 01/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Doctor Duncan Fullerton (28(19) - 5 - 2) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Sid Davies(18(1) - 6(5)) from Perth, Australia.  Both Fullerton and Davies weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noel Wilson, and the three ringside judges are Mark Kilbride, Danny McCornack and Irfan Dallal.  

Round 1: 

Fullerton connects with a cross.

Davies advances into close range and lands a left hook.  Fullerton ties up his opponent.  Fullerton tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Davies behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Fullerton to stop fouling.

Davies advances into close range and walks Fullerton down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Davies pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Fullerton's body.  
Davies pivots to the right of his opponent.  Fullerton lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Davies steps away from his opponent.  Fullerton tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Fullerton connects with a solid cross.

Davies gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Fullerton holds on to his opponent.  Fullerton leans on his opponent using all his weight. Davies uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Fullerton's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Fullerton is looking to keep his distance.  Davies attempts to land an overhand right, but Fullerton sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Davies is looking to close the distance and walks Fullerton onto the ropes.  Davies drives a right hook into Fullerton's ribcage.  
Davies advances into close range.  Davies pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Davies attempts to land a left hook, but Fullerton slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Davies throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Fullerton steps inside.  Fullerton pivots from in front of his opponent.  Davies digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Fullerton ties up his opponent.  Davies is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Fullerton uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Davies behind the head. The referee warns Fullerton and breaks the clinch.  
Fullerton steps to the outside.  Davies finds the target with a jab.  
Davies lands a hard jab.  
Fullerton is looking to keep his distance and snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Davies is looking to close the distance and forces Fullerton to retreat into a neutral corner.  Fullerton digs in a stinging left hook to Davies's body.  Fullerton throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Fullerton's ribs.

Fullerton drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Davies lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Fullerton crashes a mean left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE DAVIES WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Fullerton ties up his opponent.  Fullerton is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Fullerton's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Davies recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

As they grapple, Davies pushes his forearm into Fullerton's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Davies about fouling.  Davies recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
