Santiago Posadas vs Santiago Lastra

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Coliseo del Jockey Club, Chiclayo,  taking place on 29/04/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Santiago Posadas (7(5) - 0) who hails from Chiclayo, Peru and Santiago Lastra(7 - 20(2) - 6) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Posadas and Lastra weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ivan Arena, and the three ringside judges are Kiki Cantillo, Carlos Rana and Diego Obregon.

Lastra steps inside.  Posadas sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lastra throws a right hook, but Posadas holds on to his opponent.  Posadas tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Lastra's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Posadas lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Posadas holds on to his opponent.  Posadas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Posadas tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Posadas is on target with a solid overhand left.  
Lastra hits home with a cross.  
Posadas lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Posadas gets on the inside.  Posadas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm right hook.  
Lastra is looking to close the distance.  Posadas lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lastra walks Posadas down, trapping him in the corner.  Posadas lands a WICKED cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE LASTRA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  

Lastra closes the distance.  Posadas lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  Posadas holds on to his opponent.  Posadas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Posadas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lastra's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Lastra's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Lastra's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Posadas lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND LASTRA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Posadas connects with a SAVAGE cross.  LASTRA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Lastra now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Posadas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2, DROPPING LASTRA TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Posadas!
