Angel Amaro vs Rogelio Cortes

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Futsal Gimnasio BN Arena, San Jose,  taking place on 22/02/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Angel Amaro (4(2) - 0) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Rogelio Cortes(1 - 3) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Amaro weighed in at 115 pounds, while Cortes weighed in at 114 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Krzysztof Boguslawski, and the three ringside judges are Senon Larin, Tadzio Karp and Krzysztof Boguslawski.  

Round 1: 

Amaro gets on the inside and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Amaro clinches his opponent.  Amaro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Amaro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Amaro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Amaro drives a stinging right uppercut into Cortes's ribcage.  
Amaro drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Cortes throws a left hook, but Amaro clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Amaro pushes his forearm into Cortes's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Amaro about fouling.  
Cortes throws a right hook, but Amaro holds on to his opponent.  Amaro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cortes's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Cortes's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Cortes's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
