Goro Takaki vs Ryuu Sawaya

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Machida Hada, Machida,  taking place on 08/03/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Goro Takaki (14 - 12(1) - 10 - 1(NC)) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Ryuu Sawaya(24 - 8(1) - 3) from Tokyo, Japan.  Takaki weighed in at 147 pounds, while Sawaya weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dai Usui, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Kibe, Ichiro Kaya and Fumio Nakazawa.  

Round 1: 

Takaki gets on the inside.  Sawaya pivots to the right of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Sawaya.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Takaki is on target with a right hook.  
Sawaya hits home with a left uppercut.  
Sawaya tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sawaya forces Takaki to back into a corner.  Sawaya pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Sawaya is looking to close the distance.  Sawaya pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.

Sawaya steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Sawaya quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Takaki throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps.  Takaki ties up his opponent.  Sawaya leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sawaya pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Takaki closes the distance.  Sawaya is on target with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Takaki's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Takaki's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Sawaya's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
