Dave Pottinger vs Robert Pedersen

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkansah Promotions promoted show at Uptown Boxing Gym, St. Louis,  taking place on 06/03/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid West Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Pottinger (17(3) - 6) who hails from Olathe, USA and Robert Pedersen(11 - 8 - 2) from Independence, USA.  Pottinger weighed in at 174 pounds and 11 ounces, while Pedersen weighed in at 174 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Callum Johansen, and the three ringside judges are Lucas Geddie, Callum Johansen and Amon Ormond.  

Round 1: 

Pottinger closes the distance.  Pedersen throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Pottinger's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
