George Powles vs Mark Monhollen

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at AAMI Park, Melbourne,  taking place on 18/03/2034:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Oceania Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Main Event, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are George Powles (28(21) - 3(3) - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Mark Monhollen(14(4) - 4(3)) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Powles and Monhollen weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Steven Malas, and the three ringside judges are Joey Mahtesyan, Gus Mow and Blake Lapshin.  

Round 1: 

Powles drives a hard jab into his opponents face.

Powles hits home with a right uppercut.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Powles dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Powles is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Monhollen throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Powles's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Monhollen steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Powles steps away from his opponent.  Powles feints a left hook, and then lands a cross, jab and an overhand left to his opponents head, AND MONHOLLEN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Monhollen is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Powles on the ropes.  Monhollen lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Powles is on target with a jab.
