Chris Quier vs Joey Blaney

Boxing Daily Report from the Kaamba Promotions promoted show at New Haven Troop, New Haven,  taking place on 22/02/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Connecticut Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Quier (14(9) - 0) who hails from Bridgeport, USA and Joey Blaney(22(1) - 10 - 2) from New Haven, USA.  Quier weighed in at 200 pounds, while Blaney weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dominic Kerr, and the three ringside judges are Darryl Stephen, Peter Catanach and Peter Snape.  

Round 1: 

Quier lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Quier drives a sharp right hook into Blaney's ribcage.

Blaney digs in a right hook to Quier's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Quier.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Quier advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Quier closes the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.
