Santiago Matute vs Montenegro Carranco

Boxing Daily Report from the Vilakazi Promotions promoted show at Las Condes Truan, Las Condes,  taking place on 12/02/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UCV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Matute (18(5) - 2 - 1) who hails from San Bernardo, Chile and Montenegro Carranco(9 - 12(3) - 5) from Santiago, Chile.  Both Matute and Carranco weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Cubas, and the three ringside judges are Ora Silvera, Dario Salguero and Ovidio Barco.  

Round 1: 

Matute closes the distance.  Matute sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.
