Danny Monaghan vs Yuan Poon

Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Wembley Stadium, London,  taking place on 18/03/2034:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Danny Monaghan (47(33) - 2 - 1) who hails from Manchester, UK and Yuan Poon(29(18) - 9(7)) from Xian, China.  Both Monaghan and Poon weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Christou, and the three ringside judges are Theo Coslett, Brendan Beddoe and Cody Renfrew.

Monaghan slams a spiteful left hook into Poon's body.  POON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Monaghan throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  Poon almost instantly recovers. 
Poon pivots from in front of his opponent.  Poon drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribs.  Monaghan ties up his opponent.  Poon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Poon backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Monaghan accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Poon.  
Monaghan lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Monaghan steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Monaghan lands a cross.  
Monaghan advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Monaghan digs in a right hook to Poon's ribs.

Poon is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Monaghan knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Monaghan lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND SENDS POON TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  
Monaghan is looking to close the distance.  Monaghan crashes a nasty right uppercut to his opponents body.  POON IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Monaghan lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES POON!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Poon can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Monaghan!
