Theophilus Ogbeifo vs Atif Rauf

Boxing Daily Report from the Munatamba Promotions promoted show at Zafa Mohammadi Gym, Benin City,  taking place on 31/01/2034:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Edo State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Theophilus Ogbeifo (10 - 11(1) - 1) who hails from Benin City, Nigeria and Atif Rauf(13 - 2) from Benin City, Nigeria.  Ogbeifo weighed in at 238 pounds And 6 ounces, while Rauf weighed in at 240 pounds And 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Godfrey Adejobi, and the three ringside judges are Alen Beete, Chris Ajanwachukwu and Yakubu Ezeifekaibeya.  

Round 1: 

Rauf steps inside.  Ogbeifo throws a left hook, but Rauf clinches his opponent.  Rauf is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Rauf to stop fouling.  
Rauf sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ogbeifo throws a right hook, but Rauf clinches his opponent.  Ogbeifo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Rauf lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Rauf tries to land a left uppercut, but Ogbeifo blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ogbeifo lands a cross.  
Rauf closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into Ogbeifo's body.  
Rauf advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Rauf drives a left hook into Ogbeifo's body.  
Rauf manages to force Ogbeifo into the corner.  Rauf pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Ogbeifo tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Ogbeifo is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Rauf is looking to close the distance.  Ogbeifo digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Rauf holds on to his opponent.  Rauf uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ogbeifo behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rauf about fouling.  
Rauf pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ogbeifo switches the action to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Rauf pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a stiff jab.  
Rauf gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Rauf pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Rauf throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Rauf clinches his opponent.  Rauf tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ogbeifo's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Rauf.  
Ogbeifo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Rauf lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rauf connects with a right hook.  
Ogbeifo steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rauf dabs at his face checking for damage.
