Phil McCoubrey vs Senior Sand

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 04/02/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Phil McCoubrey (4 - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Senior Sand(1 - 3) from Brest, France.  Both McCoubrey and Sand weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Greenan, and the three ringside judges are Bilal Elbaz, Oliver McCleese and Richard Gwenn.  

Round 1: 

McCoubrey lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
McCoubrey lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  McCoubrey attempts to land a left hook, but Sand blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McCoubrey dabs at his face checking for damage.

McCoubrey lands a cross.  McCoubrey tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sand connects with a left hook.  
Sand advances into close range and throws a left hook, but McCoubrey ties up his opponent.  McCoubrey tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sand behind the head. McCoubrey manages to work his way out of the clinch.  
McCoubrey lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
