Vicente Lacayo vs Neper Pozo

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwase Promotions promoted show at San Bernardo Zapata, San Bernardo,  taking place on 21/01/2034:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Lacayo (15 - 6(4)) who hails from Maipu, Chile and Neper Pozo(13 - 17 - 3) from Maipu, Chile.  Both Lacayo and Pozo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dario Salguero, and the three ringside judges are Juan Recio, Paco Amaro and Luis Arquilla.  

Round 1: 

Lacayo closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Lacayo throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pozo hits home with a cross.  
Lacayo advances into close range.  Lacayo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lacayo dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Lacayo.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
