Roy Minion vs Waltier Vanier

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Marius Ndiaye Arena, Dakar,  taking place on 17/12/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Roy Minion (13(3) - 0) who hails from Touba, Senegal and Waltier Vanier(14(1) - 1(1)) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Minion and Vanier weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rance Artaud, and the three ringside judges are Romain Ndong, Royal Ankah and Mallory Saheli.  

Round 1:

Minion stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Minion lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES VANIER!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Minion lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS VANIER SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Vanier now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Minion connects with a cross.  
Minion pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  As Vanier tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Minion dabs at his face checking for damage.
