Shaun Magee vs Mel Cowans

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Alabama promoted show at Carver Theatre, Birmingham,  taking place on 11/12/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Deep South Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shaun Magee (18(3) - 2(1)) who hails from Hoover, USA and Mel Cowans(37(9) - 2(1)) from Memphis, USA.  Magee weighed in at 236 pounds and 6 ounces, while Cowans weighed in at 239 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Younie, and the three ringside judges are Owen Leckie, Brin Prentis and Jonathan Reid.
