Shen Kao vs Ye Tom

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Jiangsu promoted show at Zhu Ing Gym, Nanjing,  taking place on 20/11/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Jiangsu Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shen Kao (8 - 5 - 6) who hails from Xuzhou, China and Ye Tom(4 - 5 - 1) from Xuzhou, China.  Both Kao and Tom weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bing Su, and the three ringside judges are Jun Choi, Deshi Yep and Gao Zhong.  

Round 1: 

Tom closes the distance.  Tom quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Kao switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kao tries to keep the action at long range and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tom attempts to land a jab, but Kao blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tom connects with a right uppercut.

Tom closes the distance.  As Kao tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Tom has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
