Joaquin Saenz vs Jose Ponciano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guanajuato promoted show at Mexico-Guanajuato Gym, Leon,  taking place on 28/10/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guanajuato Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Saenz (21 - 9(1) - 8) who hails from Irapuato, Mexico and Jose Ponciano(20 - 19 - 2) from Irapuato, Mexico.  Both Saenz and Ponciano weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Monte, and the three ringside judges are Alvino Villavicencio, Aimon Tejada and Malvolio Martel.  

Round 1: 

Saenz gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Ponciano sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Saenz connects with a cross.  
Ponciano advances into close range and connects with a right uppercut.

Saenz is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a jab, but Ponciano blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
