Wayne Keane vs Sergeant Claudel

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at The Apollo, Manchester,  taking place on 24/11/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Wayne Keane (7(2) - 1) who hails from Swansea, UK and Sergeant Claudel(10 - 4 - 6) from Lyon, France.  Both Keane and Claudel weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Smith, and the three ringside judges are Nick Monahan, Mark Querry and Sam Henry.  

Round 1: 

Keane lands a jab.  
Claudel is looking to close the distance.  Keane drives a right hook into Claudel's body.  
Keane steps away from his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Claudel is looking to close the distance.  Keane pivots from in front of his opponent.  Keane throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Keane ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Keane pushes his forearm into Claudel's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Keane lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Keane is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Claudel throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Claudel is looking to close the distance.  Keane lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Keane clinches his opponent.  Keane pushes his forearm into Claudel's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Keane to stop fouling.  
Keane is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a solid jab.  
Keane steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Keane steps away from his opponent.  Keane quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
Keane lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Claudel gets on the inside.  Keane throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Keane ties up his opponent.  Claudel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Keane's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Keane is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Keane quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Keane steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Claudel walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Claudel sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Keane drives a firm right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Keane switches the action to the outside.  Keane sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Keane finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Keane drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Keane tries to keep the action at long range.  Claudel throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Claudel steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Keane dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Claudel manouvers Keane into the corner.  Keane lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND KNOCKS CLAUDEL DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Claudel's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Claudel's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Claudel's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Keane is on target with a jab.  
Claudel throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Claudel is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Keane lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  Keane clinches his opponent.  Keane leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Keane strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Claudel closes the distance.  Keane whips in a big left uppercut to his opponents body.  CLAUDEL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Keane is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Keane lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS CLAUDEL SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Claudel has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Keane is on target with a solid left hook to Claudel's body.  
Keane switches the action to the outside.  Keane sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Claudel throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Keane lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Claudel tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Claudel throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Claudel advances into close range.  Keane connects with a right uppercut.  
Keane throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Keane is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Claudel gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Keane crashes a mean right hook to Claudel's body.  CLAUDEL IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.

Claudel attempts to land a right hook, but Keane blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Claudel gets on the inside.  Keane throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Keane holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Keane's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Keane steps away from his opponent.  Keane feints a right, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Keane feints a left hook, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Claudel steps inside.  Keane lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Keane steps to the outside and lands an overhand left, jab and a cross to his opponents head.

Keane is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Keane about fouling.  
Keane lands with a ramrod jab.  
Keane lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Claudel almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Keane lands a stiff jab.  
Keane lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Keane sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.

Keane drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Claudel throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a nasty right hook.  CLAUDEL IS HURT!  
Keane sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Keane lands a MASSIVE left uppercut.  CLAUDEL HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Claudel now seems to have his senses back.  
Keane hits home with a stiff jab.

Keane sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Claudel throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Claudel manages to force Keane onto the ropes.  Keane lands a jab.

Keane lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS CLAUDEL SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Claudel now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Keane is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS CLAUDEL TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Keane!
