Armani Muniru vs John Adabor

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Northern Ghana promoted show at Tamale Quainoo, Tamale,  taking place on 24/09/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Northern Ghana Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Armani Muniru (2 - 8 - 2) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and John Adabor(4 - 1 - 1) from Tamale, Ghana.  Muniru weighed in at 129 pounds and 12 ounces, while Adabor weighed in at 129 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Antwan Asamoah, and the three ringside judges are Rich Burja, Sam Adabor and John Anyidoho.  

Round 1: 

Adabor pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Adabor steps inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Adabor digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Adabor pivots to the side of his opponent.  Muniru is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Muniru digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Adabor sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Adabor pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  Muniru wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Adabor dabs at his face checking for damage.  Adabor has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Adabor walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Muniru connects with a right hook.  
Adabor pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Adabor tries to land a left uppercut, but Muniru blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Muniru's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Muniru's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Adabor's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
