Guido Merlos vs Hernan Carolus

Boxing Daily Report from the Kavuta Promotions promoted show at Juarez Padron, Juarez,  taking place on 05/09/2033:

Clearly Kavuta Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Chihuahua Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Guido Merlos (12 - 23 - 4) who hails from Juarez, Mexico and Hernan Carolus(8 - 7 - 4) from Chihuahua, Mexico.  Merlos weighed in at 139 pounds and 11 ounces, while Carolus weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dario Escudero, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Gil, Fanuco Lugo and Dario Orellana.  

Round 1: 

Merlos wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Carolus has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused a slight cut .  
Carolus pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Merlos throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Merlos closes the distance and tries to land a left uppercut, but Carolus slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Carolus tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with an overhand left.
