Xalvador Lombardo vs Jose Lazaro

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Plaza de Toros, Valladolid,  taking place on 22/09/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Xalvador Lombardo (10(9) - 0) who hails from Burgos, Spain and Jose Lazaro(7 - 5 - 2) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Lombardo and Lazaro weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Mellado, and the three ringside judges are Lisandro Echavarria, Santiago Maez and Cruz Granado.  

Round 1: 

Lombardo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Lazaro tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Lazaro gets on the inside.  Lombardo throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Lombardo clinches his opponent.  Lombardo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lombardo to stop fouling.  
Lombardo switches the action to the outside and drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Lombardo closes the distance and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Lazaro recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Lombardo is on target with a right hook.  
Lombardo drives a stinging right hook into Lazaro's ribcage.  
Lombardo hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Lombardo is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Lombardo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head, AND LAZARO IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Lazaro almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lombardo closes the distance and forces Lazaro to retreat onto the ropes.  Lombardo hits home with a right uppercut.  
Lombardo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Lombardo lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Lombardo holds on to his opponent.  Lombardo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lazaro is on target with a jab.  
Lazaro attempts to land a jab, but Lombardo sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Lazaro walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Lombardo is on target with a jab.  
Lazaro closes the distance.  Lombardo lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Lombardo attempts to land a jab, but Lazaro sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lombardo lands a ramrod jab.  
Lombardo steps inside and lands a FEARSOME right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE LAZARO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Lombardo holds on to his opponent.  Lombardo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Lazaro quickly recovers. 
Lombardo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Lombardo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a solid jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lazaro's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Lazaro's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Lazaro closes the distance.  Lombardo lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Lombardo closes the distance.  Lazaro throws a left uppercut, but Lombardo holds on to his opponent.  Lombardo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Lombardo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Lazaro behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lombardo advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lombardo lands with a solid jab.  
Lombardo lands a cross, right hook and a cross to his opponents head.  
Lombardo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a sharp left hook.  
Lombardo lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Lombardo senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Lazaro and just needs the right shot.  Lombardo lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Lombardo!
