Javier Baidingo vs Glynn Fierro

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Rizal Park, Davao City,  taking place on 01/08/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Javier Baidingo (4(3) - 0) who hails from Taguig, Philippines and Glynn Fierro(1 - 2) from Davao City, Philippines.  Both Baidingo and Fierro weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elias Godoy, and the three ringside judges are Gervasio Manuntag, Sancho Betances and Ignado Maturan.  

Round 1: 

Baidingo lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Fierro closes the distance.  Baidingo lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Fierro attempts to land a cross, but Baidingo slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Fierro advances into close range and throws a right hook, but Baidingo clinches his opponent.  Baidingo pushes his forearm into Fierro's face.  The referee warns Baidingo and breaks the clinch.  
Baidingo is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Baidingo switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Baidingo feints a left, and then lands a stinging jab.  
Fierro is looking to close the distance.  Baidingo lands a stinging right hook.  Baidingo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Fierro pushes his forearm into Baidingo's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Fierro.  
Fierro gets on the inside.  Baidingo lands a right hook to the head followed by two right uppercut's to the body.  
Baidingo finds the target with a hard jab.  
Fierro walks Baidingo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Fierro pivots from in front of his opponent.  Fierro tries to land a right hook, but Baidingo blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Baidingo steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but Fierro blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Fierro gets on the inside.  Baidingo lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Baidingo holds on to his opponent.  Baidingo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Baidingo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Baidingo finds the target with a jab.  
Fierro advances into close range.  Baidingo pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Fierro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Baidingo lands with a ramrod jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Fierro's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Fierro's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Fierro's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Fierro tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Baidingo tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a solid jab.  
Baidingo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Baidingo feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Fierro quickly recovers.

Fierro is looking to close the distance.  Baidingo lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Fierro closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  You can sense Fierro is getting frustrated in there.   He pushes his head into Baidingo's face...that looked intentional!  The ref halts the action and sends Baidingo to the neutral corner.    He tells Fierro to clean up his game.  The ref's patience seems to be wearing thin.
