Davie Couch vs Oscar Reddoch

Boxing Daily Report from the High Stake Promtions promoted show at Hilken Stadium, Portland,  taking place on 05/08/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Davie Couch (7(3) - 0) who hails from Tempe, USA and Oscar Reddoch(5 - 9 - 4) from Lexington, USA.  Couch weighed in at 140 pounds, while Reddoch weighed in at 139 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Tolmie, and the three ringside judges are Brett Edmison, Max Lewis and Baltasar Mijares.  

Round 1: 

Couch steps to the outside.  Couch feints a left hook, and then lands a spiteful jab.  
Couch is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Reddoch sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Couch drives a left uppercut into Reddoch's body.  
Couch steps inside.  Reddoch throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Couch pivots from in front of his opponent.  Couch lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Couch clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Couch pushes his forearm into Reddoch's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Couch lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Couch holds on to his opponent.  Couch pushes his forearm into Reddoch's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Couch about fouling.  
Couch connects with a left hook.  
Reddoch steps inside.  Couch sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Reddoch throws a right hook, but Couch clinches his opponent.  Couch uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Reddoch's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Couch is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Couch feints a cross, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Couch lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Couch backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Reddoch attempts to land a cross, but Couch sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Couch steps inside.  Reddoch pivots to the right of his opponent.  Couch lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Couch closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Couch lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Reddoch steps inside.  Couch throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Couch holds on to his opponent.  Couch leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Reddoch sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Couch is on target with a solid left hook.  
Couch digs in a left hook to Reddoch's liver.  
Couch lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Couch closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Couch steps to the outside and lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Couch lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Couch digs in a right hook to Reddoch's ribcage.  
Reddoch closes the distance.  Couch is on target with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Reddoch's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Reddoch's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Reddoch's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Couch switches the action to the outside and is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Couch steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Couch lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Couch lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Couch steps inside and is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  REDDOCH WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Reddoch almost instantly recovers. 
Couch tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Couch is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Reddoch feints a right hook, and then attempts to land a cross, but Couch sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Couch finds the target with a jab.

Reddoch steps inside.  Couch lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Couch gets on the inside and lands a firm right hook.  
Couch lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Couch tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Reddoch behind the head. Couch is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Couch hits home with a solid right hook.  
Couch steps to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Couch is looking to close the distance and drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Couch lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Couch steps away from his opponent and lands a firm cross.  
Couch connects with a left hook.  Couch ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Couch finds the target with a hard jab.  
Reddoch gets on the inside.  Couch lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Couch lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Couch closes the distance.  Reddoch throws a right hook, but Couch ties up his opponent.  Couch leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Couch pushes his forearm into Reddoch's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Couch.  
Couch lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Couch lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Couch thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Reddoch away.  Couch lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head, AND KNOCKS REDDOCH DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  It looks like Reddoch has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Reddoch throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Reddoch is looking to close the distance.  Couch lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS REDDOCH TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Reddoch almost instantly recovers. 
Couch lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Couch lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
As Reddoch tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Couch dabs at his face checking for damage.

Reddoch quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Reddoch tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Couch connects with a stinging left hook.  
Couch gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Couch lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Couch is looking to close the distance and hits home with a sharp right hook.  Couch holds on to his opponent.  Couch is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Couch lands a firm left uppercut.  
Couch lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Reddoch quickly recovers.

Couch hits home with a right hook.  
You can sense Reddoch is getting frustrated in there.    He throws a hook, and catches Couch low!  The ref ignores Couch's protests and signals for the action to continue!  
Couch lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Couch lands a left hook.  
Couch hits home with a sharp left hook.  Couch attempts to land a left hook, but Reddoch blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Couch lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND DROPS REDDOCH TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Couch!
