Jacob Vasquez vs Edward Elder

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Manchester Parry, Manchester,  taking place on 28/06/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jacob Vasquez (3 - 0) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and Edward Elder(3 - 3) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Vasquez and Elder weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Magee, and the three ringside judges are Paul McCalla, Paul McIver and Jawad Mahdavi.  

Round 1: 

Elder advances into close range.  Vasquez lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Vasquez lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Vasquez is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Vasquez lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Vasquez advances into close range and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.

Vasquez forces Elder to retreat into the corner.  Vasquez lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  As Vasquez tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Elder dabs at his face checking for damage.  Elder has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Vasquez digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Vasquez ties up his opponent.  Vasquez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Vasquez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Elder quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Elder tries to land a left hook, but Vasquez blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Elder walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Vasquez finds the target with a jab.  
Vasquez is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Elder sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Elder sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Vasquez hits home with a left hook.  Vasquez throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Vasquez's ribs.  
Vasquez walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Vasquez is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Elder throws a right uppercut, but Vasquez holds on to his opponent.  Vasquez tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Elder behind the head. The ref breaks Vasquez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Vasquez walks Elder onto the ropes.  Vasquez is on target with a right hook to Elder's body.  
Vasquez is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Vasquez holds on to his opponent.  Vasquez pushes his forearm into Elder's face.  The ref breaks Vasquez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Elder's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Elder's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
