Alois Anacker vs Erhard Appenzeller

Boxing Daily Report from the BoxHaus AG promoted show at Turnhalle Bernmobil, Bern,  taking place on 11/07/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alois Anacker (4(4) - 0) who hails from Bern, Switzerland and Erhard Appenzeller(5 - 8(2)) from Zurich, Switzerland.  Anacker weighed in at 146 pounds And 9 ounces, while Appenzeller weighed in at 146 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Drugi Hahn, and the three ringside judges are Kasch Schauwecker, Peer Carlsen and Ferd Krieger.  

Round 1:

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Anacker dabs at his face checking for damage.  Anacker has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Appenzeller voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Anacker accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Appenzeller.  Anacker lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Anacker closes the distance and lands a HUGE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE APPENZELLER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Appenzeller recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
