Mark McAndrew vs Davie Griffiths

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Portsmouth Guildhall, Portsmouth,  taking place on 09/06/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mark McAndrew (7(5) - 0) who hails from Milton Keynes, UK and Davie Griffiths(11 - 6(1) - 4) from London, UK.  Both McAndrew and Griffiths weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aeron Wyburn, and the three ringside judges are David Priddy, Brendan Malone and Mark Cossutta.  

Round 1: 

McAndrew attempts to land an overhand left, but Griffiths sidesteps and counters with a cross.

McAndrew throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  McAndrew ties up his opponent.  McAndrew leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Griffiths is looking to close the distance.  McAndrew digs in a right hook to Griffiths's body.  
McAndrew is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

McAndrew lands a right hook, cross and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND GRIFFITHS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is McAndrew!
