Gareth Boan vs Johnny MacCunn

Boxing Daily Report from the Mainza Promotions promoted show at Bolton School Arts & Conference Centre, Bolton,  taking place on 17/05/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Boan (6 - 10) who hails from Leeds, UK and Johnny MacCunn(15 - 12(5) - 1) from Doncaster, UK.  Boan weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces, while MacCunn weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ronald McAlinden, and the three ringside judges are Alex Bean, James McCarthy and Iain Clark.  

Round 1: 

MacCunn closes the distance and walks Boan onto the ropes.  MacCunn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
