Vilayat Zia vs Timofei Guseynov

Boxing Daily Report from the Kamwendo Promotions promoted show at Toshkent Iskanderov, Toshkent,  taking place on 24/04/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uzbekistan-Toshkent Shahri Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Uzbek Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vilayat Zia (16 - 10) who hails from Toshkent, Uzbekistan and Timofei Guseynov(12(9) - 0) from Toshkent, Uzbekistan.  Zia weighed in at 245 pounds and 4 ounces, while Guseynov weighed in at 246 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Khudayar Kazmi, and the three ringside judges are Nikolai Abildaeff, Ahmed Saryev and Toghrul Jabiyev.  

Round 1: 

Guseynov advances into close range and digs in a solid left hook to Zia's ribs.  Guseynov clinches his opponent.  Guseynov is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Guseynov.  Guseynov tries to land a left hook, but Zia blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Guseynov lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Guseynov clinches his opponent.  Guseynov leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  Zia recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Guseynov throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Guseynov holds on to his opponent.  Guseynov hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks Guseynov's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Guseynov is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Guseynov is looking to close the distance.  Zia quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Zia throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Guseynov lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Guseynov ties up his opponent.  Guseynov leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Guseynov gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging left hook to Zia's ribs.  
Guseynov steps inside and drives a stinging left hook into Zia's ribs.  
Guseynov drives a firm left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Guseynov walks Zia down, trapping him in the corner.  Guseynov sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Guseynov dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Guseynov.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Guseynov lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Guseynov holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Guseynov pushes his forearm into Zia's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Guseynov to stop fouling.  
Zia feints a jab, tricking Guseynov into throwing a left hook counter.  Zia is waiting for the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Guseynov is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Guseynov lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Guseynov closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Guseynov closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Guseynov holds on to his opponent.  Guseynov leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Guseynov gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Guseynov lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Guseynov clinches his opponent.  Guseynov is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Guseynov's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Guseynov is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Guseynov drives a potent right uppercut into his opponents body.  ZIA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  It looks like Zia has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Guseynov lands a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zia's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Zia's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Zia's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Zia's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Guseynov advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Guseynov is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Guseynov lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES ZIA!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Guseynov drives a telling left hook into Zia's ribs.  ZIA IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Guseynov slams a DEVASTATING right hook into his opponents body.  ZIA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE ZIA CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Guseynov!
