Ellis Verdejo vs John Gibson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-California promoted show at Los Angeles Troup, Los Angeles,  taking place on 25/04/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ellis Verdejo (16 - 17 - 4) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and John Gibson(7 - 3 - 1) from Oakland, USA.  Verdejo weighed in at 105 pounds And 10 ounces, while Gibson weighed in at 105 pounds.    As Verdejo came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Davie Keir, and the three ringside judges are Juan Espin, Michael Pride and Josh Butchart.
