Hayden Nield vs Mark McFarlane

Boxing Daily Report from the Andy Harvey promoted show at Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park, Sheffield,  taking place on 20/04/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Central England Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hayden Nield (7 - 5 - 4) who hails from Leicester, UK and Mark McFarlane(20 - 2) from Leicester, UK.  Both Nield and McFarlane weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Smith, and the three ringside judges are William McCorkel, Mike Burchardt and Barry Dower.  

Round 1: 

McFarlane steps inside.  Nield pivots to the side of his opponent.  Nield throws a right uppercut, but McFarlane holds on to his opponent.  Nield tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McFarlane's kidney. 
McFarlane lands a straight 1 - 2.  
McFarlane gets on the inside.  McFarlane pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Nield's ribs.

McFarlane gets on the inside.  Nield pivots from in front of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McFarlane dabs at his face checking for damage.  
McFarlane closes the distance.  Nield pivots to the left of his opponent.  McFarlane hits home with a right hook.  McFarlane holds on to his opponent.  McFarlane is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
