Boxing Daily Report from the Mandale Boxing Promotions promoted show at North Shore Event Centre, Auckland,  taking place on 21/04/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sommet Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Maiope Poaro (8(7) - 0 - 1) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Shen Qu(3 - 2 - 2) from Shanghai, China.  Poaro weighed in at 153 pounds And 10 ounces, while Qu weighed in at 153 pounds And 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Kinzey, and the three ringside judges are Colin Lawder, Louis Paipa and Jonathan Teague.  

Round 1: 

Poaro is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a stinging cross.

Poaro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Qu almost instantly gets his legs back.
