Dillon Taylor vs Chris Gerrie

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Boxing Academy promoted show at Auckland Martie, Auckland,  taking place on 16/03/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dillon Taylor (9 - 8 - 3) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Chris Gerrie(11 - 9(2) - 4) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Taylor and Gerrie weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Corey Hopper, and the three ringside judges are Hamahona Kurawhatia, Dave Forbush and Henry Ngahoro.  

Round 1: 

Taylor closes the distance and lands a right hook.  Taylor throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
