Cris Minjares vs Isidro Ascencio

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu Promotions promoted show at Miguel Montiel Gym, Itagui,  taking place on 18/02/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Antioquia Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cris Minjares (10 - 17(1) - 4) who hails from Medellin, Colombia and Isidro Ascencio(8 - 1) from Medellin, Colombia.  Both Minjares and Ascencio weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Emilio Lucas, and the three ringside judges are Xavion Porro, Jose Arjona and Fidel Cruz.  

Round 1: 

Minjares is looking to keep his distance.  Ascencio feints a cross, and then lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.
