Royal Kaptoum vs Elliot Hippe

Boxing Daily Report from the Hamidou Promotions promoted show at Garoua Marc, Garoua,  taking place on 16/02/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Royal Kaptoum (13 - 9(2)) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Elliot Hippe(16 - 11(1) - 3) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Kaptoum weighed in at 168 pounds, while Hippe weighed in at 168 pounds And 13 ounces.    As Hippe came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Bayard Delahaye, and the three ringside judges are Labaron Ulliel, Justin Mbamba and Raul Truffaut.  

Round 1: 

Hippe is on target with a cross.  
Kaptoum manages to force Hippe onto the ropes.  Kaptoum is on target with a left hook.  
Hippe is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  
Kaptoum steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Kaptoum clinches his opponent.  Kaptoum leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Kaptoum's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kaptoum manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Kaptoum is on target with a left uppercut.  
Kaptoum quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Kaptoum closes the distance and walks Hippe down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kaptoum drives a right hook into Hippe's body.  
Kaptoum digs in a right hook to Hippe's ribs.  
Kaptoum lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  Kaptoum holds on to his opponent.  Kaptoum pushes his forearm into Hippe's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kaptoum.  
Kaptoum gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  Kaptoum ties up his opponent.  Kaptoum uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Hippe behind the head. Kaptoum uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Hippe behind the head. The ref breaks Kaptoum's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kaptoum tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook to Kaptoum's body.  
Hippe throws a right hook, but Kaptoum ties up his opponent.  Kaptoum leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kaptoum is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kaptoum quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kaptoum lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Kaptoum holds on to his opponent.  Kaptoum leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Kaptoum's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kaptoum drives a right hook into Hippe's body.  
Kaptoum closes the distance.  Kaptoum sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Kaptoum closes the distance.  Hippe pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kaptoum lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS HIPPE!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Kaptoum ties up his opponent.  Kaptoum hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. As they grapple, Kaptoum pushes his forearm into Hippe's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kaptoum is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Kaptoum lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  It looks like Hippe has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hippe's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Hippe's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Kaptoum steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS HIPPE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  
Kaptoum thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Hippe away.  Kaptoum digs in a forceful left hook to Hippe's ribs.  HIPPE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like Hippe has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Kaptoum is looking to close the distance and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Kaptoum ties up his opponent.  Kaptoum is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kaptoum about fouling.  
Kaptoum digs in a left hook to Hippe's body.  
Kaptoum lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kaptoum lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kaptoum lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Kaptoum connects with a left hook.  
Kaptoum digs in a left uppercut to Hippe's body.  
Kaptoum lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Hippe is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.
