Brigham Pique vs Shayan Rasheed

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Abrankese Stadium, Kumasi,  taking place on 26/02/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western African Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Brigham Pique (15(13) - 2(1)) who hails from Bouake, Ivory Coast and Shayan Rasheed(26 - 7(5)) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Pique and Rasheed weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mason Attoh, and the three ringside judges are Tamarius Ankomah, Paul Kwakye and Chata Ankrah.  

Round 1: 

Rasheed snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.

Rasheed quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pique lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Rasheed throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a FEARSOME cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE RASHEED WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Rasheed recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

RASHEED IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT RASHEED CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Pique!
