Neper Puerta vs Carlos Chaparro

Boxing Daily Report from the Yalley Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Rio, Guayaquil,  taking place on 24/12/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neper Puerta (8 - 12) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Carlos Chaparro(11 - 9(2) - 1) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Puerta and Chaparro weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sagaz Ancheta, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Orona, Pedro Siman and Ovidio Alarcon.  

Round 1: 

Puerta pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Puerta sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Puerta tries to land a jab, but Chaparro sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Chaparro tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with an overhand left.
