Gonzalo Mata vs Marco Merida

Boxing Daily Report from the Nawanoma Promotions promoted show at Quito Aceves, Quito,  taking place on 13/11/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gonzalo Mata (7 - 1) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Marco Merida(23 - 9(3) - 1) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Mata weighed in at 175 pounds, while Merida weighed in at 175 pounds and 12 ounces.    As Merida came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Seferino Montalbo, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Rolon, Neper Cifuentes and Rodrigo Guitron.
