Roman Lucero vs Uli Mayr

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-North Rhine-Westphalia promoted show at Dusseldorf Bickelhaupt, Dusseldorf,  taking place on 28/07/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Roman Shotgun Lucero (41(41) - 4(3) - 1) who hails from Rodriguez, Philippines and Uli Mayr(3 - 11 - 2) from Bremen, Germany.  Both Lucero and Mayr weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alhwin Saurer, and the three ringside judges are Harmon Schmidt, Dieter Jonas and Wilmer Krings.  

Round 1: 

Lucero throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lucero lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mayr advances into close range and walks Lucero down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mayr throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lucero is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS MAYR!  He manages to get up at 9.  
Lucero stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Lucero lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, DROPPING MAYR TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  Mayr now seems to have got his legs back.  
Lucero finds the target with a hard jab.  
Lucero is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Lucero lands a FIERCE right hook.  MAYR WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Mayr almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Mayr is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but Lucero holds on to his opponent.  Lucero is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Lucero and breaks the clinch.  
Lucero steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Mayr closes the distance and forces Lucero to back into the ropes.  Lucero is on target with a left hook to Mayr's body.  
Lucero is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross to Mayr's body.  
Mayr steps inside and throws a right hook, but Lucero clinches his opponent.  Lucero leans on his opponent using all his weight. Lucero pushes his forearm into Mayr's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lucero.  
Lucero steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Lucero is on target with a sharp cross.  
Lucero steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Lucero steps inside and lands a sharp right hook.  Lucero ties up his opponent.  Lucero leans on his opponent using all his weight. Lucero hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Lucero is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Mayr quickly recovers. 
Mayr connects with a right hook.  
Lucero is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lucero drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Mayr attempts to land an overhand left, but Lucero sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Mayr gets on the inside.  Lucero lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mayr recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Lucero digs in a solid left hook to Mayr's body.  
Lucero is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Lucero attempts to land a jab, but Mayr sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Lucero is on target with a stinging jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mayr's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Mayr's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Lucero tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Mayr recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Lucero steps inside.  Mayr wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lucero dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Lucero tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Mayr walks Lucero onto the ropes.  Lucero lands a hard jab.  
Lucero tries to step out of his opponents range and snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Lucero is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Lucero clinches his opponent.  Lucero is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Lucero uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mayr behind the head. The ref breaks Lucero's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Mayr almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Mayr throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Lucero feints a left, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mayr throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lucero is looking to keep his distance and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Lucero lands a straight 1 - 2, AND KNOCKS MAYR DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Lucero!
