Joaquin Zayas vs Santiago Olmeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Havana Zaragosa, Havana,  taking place on 20/08/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Zayas (10(5) - 1(1)) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Santiago Olmeda(14 - 16(2) - 2) from Havana, Cuba.  Zayas weighed in at 159 pounds And 11 ounces, while Olmeda weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neper Quinonez, and the three ringside judges are Jax Telleria, Luis Sanchez and Diego Villas.  

Round 1: 

Zayas steps inside and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Zayas ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Zayas pushes his forearm into Olmeda's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Olmeda pivots to the right of his opponent.  Olmeda throws a left hook, but Zayas clinches his opponent.  Zayas pushes his forearm into Olmeda's face.  The ref breaks Zayas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Olmeda hits home with a cross.  
Zayas lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  Zayas clinches his opponent.  Zayas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Zayas pushes his forearm into Olmeda's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Zayas attempts to land a right hook, but Olmeda slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Zayas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

As Olmeda tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Zayas dabs at his face checking for damage.
