Isidro Gomez vs Ulises Monsalve

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Javier Cruz Artes y Oficios, Panama City,  taking place on 23/08/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Isidro Gomez (13(10) - 1) who hails from Masaya, Nicaragua and Ulises Monsalve(8 - 8(1) - 1) from Bogota, Colombia.  Gomez weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Monsalve weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Vences, and the three ringside judges are Roman Giraldo, Neron Pasqual and Eduardo Amezquita.  

Round 1: 

Monsalve advances into close range.  Gomez lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Gomez ties up his opponent.  Gomez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Gomez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
