Jose Nova vs Ponce Cedillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Djan Promotions promoted show at Puebla Luy, Puebla,  taking place on 21/06/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Puebla Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Nova (21(10) - 3(1) - 2) who hails from Tehuacan, Mexico and Ponce Cedillo(17 - 10(1) - 4) from Puebla, Mexico.  Nova weighed in at 135 pounds, while Cedillo weighed in at 134 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Cuellar, and the three ringside judges are Porfio Artiga, Seferino Leiva and Diego Cuellar.  

Round 1: 

Nova steps to the outside and lands a solid jab.  
Nova lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and an overhand left to the head.

Nova senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Nova lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, KNOCKING CEDILLO DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Cedillo now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
