Michael Nieves vs Alastair Bryden

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Silver Creek Sportsplex, San Jose,  taking place on 31/07/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Pacific Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Nieves (33(21) - 3(2)) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Alastair Bryden(14(4) - 0) from Eugene, USA.  Nieves weighed in at 153 pounds and 9 ounces, while Bryden weighed in at 153 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lewis Suttie, and the three ringside judges are John Dickie, Chris Jones and Dave Markle.
